Sinmar Badminton Group (SBG) was founded in March 2013, by a group of badminton players with a passion for the game and a vision to promote badminton in the Riyadh Indian Community, under the Leadership of Mr. Anil Kumar. Our main goal is to provide a fully dedicated and a one-stop badminton facility for fellow badminton players. SBG is a multi-sport facility with 4 BWF standard Badminton Courts, a fully equipped Gym, and a Table Tennis table. Membership to SBG is limited and the facility is governed by the Executive Committee of SBG. We also focus on the development of the badminton abilities of the junior members. Our junior players have won many Local, Regional, National, and International titles in badminton tournaments and continues to be the key players in the region.
Badminton at the top level is an extremely physically demanding game requiring strength endurance, muscular power, agility, speed endurance, and a capacity game to accelerate / decelerate. The speed and the stamina required for badminton are far greater than for any other racket sport. Sinmar Badminton Group (SBG) has been established as a non-profitable organization to provide world class facilities and infrastructure for the promotion of sports and health. Our aim is to provide an opportunity for our members with varying skill levels to play badminton in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The focus is on positive atmosphere of respect, fair play, and good sportsmanship.
